FOUNDER

Kimberly has over 35 years of combined experience serving as CFO and providing financial consultative and business advisory services to a large and diverse set of client organizations. In 2002, Kimberly launched Cafferty & Company as the first firm to provide independent debt advisory services to a wide range of domestic and international clients. The firm has since closed and funded hundreds of transactions on their behalf.

Prior to founding Cafferty & Company, Kimberly was a Senior Practice Unit Leader at Charles River Ventures, where she was responsible for spearheading the firm’s consulting initiative and driving best practices for venture debt finance, early-business formation issues, and a broad spectrum of other operational objectives across the portfolio leveraging her experience gained over a variety of earlier CFO roles; Diligent Technologies; OpenPages; eDocs; SeaChange International; etc.

Kimberly began her career at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she worked with the Entrepreneurial Services Group providing targeted assistance to early-stage companies and the High Technology Services Group identifying accounting and broader business issues affecting technology-based companies and sharing industry-specific knowledge with practice offices throughout the country.
